Deliverables
Delivery of a companywide transformation plan resulted in the immediate stabilisation of the business & subsequent improvement in bottom line profit > £18m p.a., eventually resulting in a successful sale to DPD for c.£240m.
Key elements being:
Transformation plan delivered, resulting in significant improvements in the core strategic areas of Courier, IT, Service, Sales & People.
Implementation of a leaner more agile operating model, resulting in substantial efficiency savings and improvements in service & staff engagement
Head office right-sizing with a reduction of headcount (c30%) and the removal of prime Central London office space
Commercial pricing review implemented ; customer terms renegotiated with improvements delivering c£2m p.a
