Approach: We modernized the default dashboard by developing dozens of custom metrics, eliminating the need for legacy Excel reports. In doing so, we introduced real-time cashflow projections directly sourced from system data. Tailored dashboard views were created for both senior leadership and site managers, ensuring alignment through a single, unified source of truth. Additionally, we engineered a new reporting model—faster, leaner, and focused exclusively on essential data—culminating in the introduction of a Balanced Scorecard to drive strategic decision-making.
Outcome: The Balanced Scorecard instantly became the go-to report. It replaced the old dashboard because it was:
Easy to interpret
Tightly aligned to strategic goals
Ideal for management meetings
Flexible across different reporting periods
We later enhanced it with drill-down functionality, enabling users to click into metrics like Employee Efficiency and see individual-level performance - driving accountability and insight.
